Article 3: ENDING THE ORTHODOX!!!
We are living in a group of people having limited thoughts. Yes, I am talking about our elders who say that their opinion is right and should be conaidered as final. By acting on their advice, most of the youth messes up with their future without even knowing. It is true that seniors have more experience than us and they can give us more practical advice. But most of the times, their opinion clashes with our interest and passion. Due to this reason most of the talented artists and others, having mentality and natural skill which was not in accordance with their Academic studies, ended up being Doctors, Engineers or Businessmen. Everyone has the right to decide for his/her own life. They can take advice from seniors but it doesn’t mean that they should always do whatever they say. Thinking about your passion and making your own decison while considering seniors' advice also will make your life more happier and peaceful. There will be no regrets in the future about what you should have done instead of what you have accomplished by then.
There is another trend in our society which is “log kia kahan gy”. This single phrase has destroyed many lifes(just trying to show the intensity of matter). People generally ignore their strengths just to avoid the criticism from people. We have to stop caring what others say because its their habbit and they will continue to do so. It doesn’t matter what others say because they have no rights to decide or even talk about your future plans. We must do whatever we want, whatever we think is right for us. Acting in this way, if we even fail, it will teach us some lesson and we won't have any regrets in future.
Our own chosen field might not prove to be a right choice in the begining. But, if it is in accordance with our interest and we remained motivated it will make us and our parents proud. Like Bill Gates once said:
"People generally over-estimate what they can do in one year and under-estimate what they can do in ten years".
